Re: How about trading Joe Smith to Toronto for Michael Bishop?
Joe Smith's comments that he won't even watch Friday's game are the final straw. He clearly does not want to be here. Trade him to Toronto for Michael Bishop. Toronto has already settled on Joseph, and they don't need Bishop. We don't need Smith (considering his who cares attitude) but we DO need a...

Re: Calgary vs Sask
Ain't no such thing as calls evening them selves out! The "champs" get certain calls, that's just the way the cookie crumbles. They know it, we know it. End of story. The Lions have to win two playoff games to get to the final, the sooner that is recognized as fact, the better. Don't use t...

Re: Bottom line.....
A veteran team that knows that the regular season games don't count as much as the playoff games, but they still need to understand that they haven't got a playoff spot locked up yet. Turning the on/off switch isn't as easy to do as they may think, and learning to win games that they should put awa...

Re: Congrats to Clermont!
Well done JC, and our appreciation for the price paid for some of those catches (okay MOST of them) and those yards gained. Keep it up!

Re: Embarrassing
Thanks Dale for reminding me why I dare not forgrt where I come from, for it is you true backers who really care about the team we love and will find a way to die for. We are 3 & 2 and are ecstatic for the win!!! Ironically my name is also Dale :rockin: But I did want to point out (though I'm s...

Re: thoughts on risky photos?
New development; Bombers cheerleader coach quits over photo incident. http://www.mytelus.com/sports/article.do?pageID=sports_home&articleID=2959564 Hopefully there is someone else within the organization who can step up and take her place, while I can appreciate her reasons for doing so, I would...

Re: thoughts on risky photos?
Yes, Columbo, but maybe those photos date from when they were still with the squad and/or while at a designated function?
If that was a Blue Lightening designated function then I definetly have to go to a Blue Lightening designated function!! lol

Re: thoughts on risky photos?
I had heard that the pictures were not of members of this years Blue Lightening team. My personal take is it's just a case of young ladies being young ladies having fun. Much ado about nothing!

Re: Meet The Team 2008?
The profiles are finally up. Well worth the wait. Haven't had the chance to read through all of them yet but Sarah's is awesome. I didn't realize you were that into football. I agree, NFL Total Access is a great show. Wonder if she's ever watched any of the 'Making the Squad' specials that they sho...

Re: Official 2007-08 Vancouver Canucks Season Thread
The Calgary Flames will be suffering from Malignant Bertuzzinoma for a year! This is the saddest day in my 20 years as a Flames fan! We can't resign Cujo but we can bring in that abomination BerWTFuzzi?! :x I don't care if he is wearing a Flaming C on his jersey or not, I'll BOO him to my last...

Re: Meet The Team 2008?
I have to say that while the Meet the 2008 team section on the website might be highly anticipated, I thought it was simply more fun and visually pleasing to meet the lovely Felions in person at the Calendar launch!

Yeah, I gotta be honest, I was sitting there in the Shark Club, and I wasn't even close to being focused on the game really haha. Which in hindsight is probably a good thing!lion24 wrote:Thanks for the pics CartWheelFan, takes the stress and frustration off the Calgary game a bit!!

You will have to pardon my photography skills here as I am by no means a professional in any sense, but for those of you who missed it (and shame on you if you did) here's a little taste of what you missed out on.... http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j192/fuuuckitbucket_2006/DSC00785.jpg http://i80....

Re: Clermont?
As much as we are all worried about Buck's health I am starting to get concerned about Clermont. He has always been one of my favourite players and he is as tough as an ox but it seems from last year to the opener this season every time he gets hit it is like it is the hardest hit ever each time. H...
