Re: Getting Ready for the Tabbies

Rammer,

Kevin Glenn will start....Marcel won't want to damage his mental state so close to the playoffs. Porter will see action by series though. Marcel will hope their early game plan simply works, they atempt to run the ball and throw off the run action imo. I see the Lions setting out to stop ...

Re: Getting Ready for the Tabbies

Hamilton is susceptible to the intermediate and long passing game and creating mismatches with their secondary could be a key to beating them. They depend heavily on man to man coverage and have a very young and inexperienced group of Db's. None has played the full season with injuries and fill in ...

Neil McEvoy

Just recently have read some posts on CFL.ca from Gridiron Guru regarding Neil Mac ....

Hammering on Neil is like like Hammering on Davy Crockett at the Alamo, holding down the fort under hostile fire and showing every day no matter what it loks like which under the circumstances must be rather ...

Re: Wholesale Shipwreck

Toppy Van ,

The onside kick was a legal play and was ruled inccorect although I never made any comment on that in my post. My post simply stated who was responsible for working out Nikolas Lewis which was incorrectly atrribuited to Matt.

"Miss a lot of talent"

Maybe you missed the last game ...

Re: Wholesale Shipwreck

I don't know why there is this perception that Dunigan didn't do well in Calgary, given the circumstances that he was under, he did very well IMO. Remember that was the F-troop era with the owners son (combination of Joe Montana and Steve Young if you asked his dad) getting reps as a QB. Combine ...

Re: Lions @ Alouettes - Game Day Thread

West Coast Joe,

Common terminology at least in coaching circles,

"Boundary Side" denotes the short side of the field and usually is set versus the offensive strength of formation. While "Field side" denotes the wide side of the field where the weakside of the offensive set is aligned.

The ...

Empire Games info

For this seasons games I would like to inquire about where the best lodging spots would be for Empire Stadium games?

We're planning on attending one of the late season games in September and would like to get some local info on good pubs and hotels close to the stadium.

Really have enjoyed the ...

Re: Which NFL team will Cam Wake go to?

Interesting thread.

It is sure to be a hot topic with a lot of horses in the race. The question will be whether it's the top dollar as the deal sealer or whether you go with the club that will utilize you on the field.

Teams such as the Raiders are stacked on the D-line and likely wouldn't be a ...

Every off season potential equipment men are run through a myriad of drills and timing exercises, these hopefuls all seeking a chance at the big time and a professional career. They come from far and wide to run the gauntlet of testing competing with each other and the clock.

Of course each is ...

It will be an interesting match up with several underlying themes.

It is the time of year to crank up the intensity and get your club playoff ready and go in with a hot streak.

It's an important game to come away with a victory with both the playoffs and the division title on the line, every win ...

heading to the Pond Wednesday night for some hockey !

No city has ever had both the Grey Cup and the Stanley Cup Champions in the same season. That possibility stills remains....

Go Canucks ! ! !
