Hello all
ok - question - watching the bombers and toronto game - prefontaine takes the safety instead of punting - but why in the world would he run around trying to take time off the clock - when its just the start of the 3rd quarter and your team is down by 8 and soon to be down by 11?
am i missing something?

Re: question
Pre's take a lot of hits, probably thought it was the 4th quarter...
Great to see you're still following Buck....kudos. Great to see Buck playing again this season.

Re: question
they are against a strong wind in the 3rd, Prefonaine's kick (no matter how good, would've left the Argos in FG position at least) - running time off the clock gets them one step closer to eliminating kicking (and running offense) against the wind.mightybuck wrote:Hello all

Re: question
isnt toronto going against the wind in the 3rd??
Every day that passes is one you can't get back
Re: question
Exactly, killing a few seconds can be the difference to changing the game when the wind is in your face.the-real-hugo wrote:they are against a strong wind in the 3rd, Prefonaine's kick (no matter how good, would've left the Argos in FG position at least) - running time off the clock gets them one step closer to eliminating kicking (and running offense) against the wind.mightybuck wrote:Hello all
