Tired of Geroy defending the coaches. Isn't he one of the receivers that went to Buono to bring back Chapdelaine after Buono publicly stated that there is no opening for an assistant coach ? Careful what you wish for.
But, if you are looking at a clearly stat basis, it has worked out well.

I too like seeing Moore inserted into the line up.
I can understand putting Tad in, but I had thought Ruffin was playing

Re: Trade for Arland Bruce
Overall a good trade and a good week for Wally. If he sat through the year and did nothing, he would be skewered in public opinion for doing nothing. this at least shows that we have not given up on the season.

Re: Als coach Trestman meets with Miami Hurricanes - CBC
Al Golden from Temple ended up with the job.

not a bad hire for Miami.
It would be a loss for the CFL if Tressman goes elsewhere.

Re: Absoluteley Disgusted
In the post game show, Wally did place the blame on the D for allowing 48 points.
It's always the players' fault. The coaches are never at fault. Ever.
and, that is what is truly frustrating about this. There is a lack of responsibility being taken by the coaching staff, in this whole ...

Re: Absoluteley Disgusted
I have to say the You got Chap'd pretty much sums up the past few years. There truly is no imagination to the play calling. Most of our plays that were made came off of broken plays where our QB's were running for their lives.

Re: Ultimatum: Call in on CKNW's The World Today
I would say no to the ultimatum....
And, the sad thing about the Esks was the ultimatum was to win and things would hold off. They had their decision made well before hand. To me, that is more bush league then actually making an ultimatum.

Really, comments like this do neither team any good. However, with that being said, I think banks response is appropriate in this instance. Especially, the comment about his silence about last years production.

Re: Glatt and Jimenez Released
Like everyone has already posted, this comes down to contracts. Glatt could not be paid what he was for being a back up and unfortunately, he had played himself to that position.

Re: Paris' stupid celebration
I agree with Pauser that this thread does not exist.
To me celebrations are not a bad thing to have in the game. Choreographed with the entire team is not something that I really care to see, but that is me. An individual dancing like a fool in the endzone, before getting congratulated by his team ...

It seems they left BC off the list. Oh, well, we will still take the Grey Cup.
It is nice to see Danny Mac, still involved with the team.

Re: Warner, TO and Lewis
The TO thing did not surprise me, being cut from Dallas. His act wears out after 3 years, so he was past the expiry date.
However, I did not expect him to sign with Buffalo. An interesting signing for Buffalo. It will be interesting to see how he meshes with Edwards.

Re: New Lionbackers.com format - feedback?
It was funny when this first came out. (ie - when I saw it), it was the old format.
I could not figure out the fuss. Now I understand. Takes a while
I actually do not mind it. I am looking at the other side of the screen now - but overall the look of the site is good.

Re: Casey Printers released by Ti-Cats, the Riders interested...
I think with him coming on to the market is a very interesting development. I thought Hamilton was willing to let him fight for the starting job so I am surprised.
Someone will take a shot at him, but this is most likely the last opportunity.

Re: Logan Offered 2 year Contract
I agree with Hambone on the option year comments. It is not often that we lose talent that way. The option year provides that little enticement to the player coming up here.
Also, it is nice to see that the priority is to sign Logan. With this signing - a key to the offense is still here.
