He might have been talking about last night's Lions - Bombers game. No offense intended for the Bombers who played their hearts out last night.

There were some huge plays in that game that enabled us to win. I think you pretty much got them all. The only one I would add is Ryan Phillips' last second INT to make the game official.

I thought it was a key play by Phillips to not only recover the football in the end zone, on Otis Floyd's strip, but to pick it up and run it out!!

Yes if he had gone down in the endzone it would have been a "touchback". No points and the Lions get the ball at 20. However, I am uncertain if the ball actually went into the endzone. Also with the pile being where it was, he didn't have to go far to try and get through the main push and then he would have been gone.

Plus I'm thinking Phillips is more looking at the opposition endzone more and more.
