This is some terrific work by JC Abbott. 3 Down Nation has done a fantastic job picking up the slack left behind by the shrinking sports departments at the once mighty daily papers.

Wonder if that is JC speculating the depth chart or he was tipped on some of the players?
Having a late 2024 practice roster addition (Tyler Cole) pencilled in as a starting SAM and a September arrival in Mike Smith Jr. on the active roster at LB sure look like Rigmaiden moves compared to a safer route under Campbell.

The one salary that jumped out at me was Auclair at $131,500 in hard money. That would make him their 5th highest paid defensive player behind Betts ($260,000), Hendricks ($154,000) and Hladik ($142,000) while Peters' new deal is likely in the $135,000 range he made last season. Still think there is a chance Hladik gets traded around the draft if there is a market for him at that salary rather than have 2 higher paid rotational national LBs.
I know it's a ratio thing but odd seeing the two LBs you are counting on the most making $125,000 (Woods) and $110,000 (Awe) respectively.
