I wasn't at the preseason tilt, but I suspect it is going to be loud. In one of the preseason post-game interviews Brent Johnson made a comment about it being difficult for them to communicate on defence, so I hope noise doesn't prove a detriment. But we've got to get the place rocking as soon as play is whistled in, because I'm thinking if the crowd is roaring when the coach is on the speaker in Durant's ear, it will also pick up the crowd noise. Regardless, I'm betting on three time count violations and a similar number of offsides because of the noise.

Is it just me, or did Commonwealth seem unusually quiet today - like the crowd was kind of passive and not really into it? There seemed to be 100x more energy at Empire and it was just a preseason game.

Oh, and if you catch a ball on Saturday (and like me have several at home) be a sport and give it to a kid sitting near you...you'll create a lifelong fan. And if that kid is wearing green, tell him he can have it only if dad buys a Lions shirt and wears it for the rest of the game.

Commonwealth appeared (on tv at least) to be fairly empty...maybe because of the weather at the start of the game? By the 3 min warning, most of the few fans had left and it looked really empty.

Yup, Esks fans didn't have much to cheer about for the whole game so it would be pretty quiet.

Attendance was 34000+ which just like BC Place = approximately only 57% of capacity, barely half full.
