The Bombers have scored more points against the Riders with Dimwiddie than we did against the Riders...hard to believe!

Notice how the Bombers are using a tight end at times to provide more time and the Riders have also used a two back set and a single and double tight end set.

Our Leos have to get out of the five pack receiver spread offence, which we used so much in the Western Final, next season.

A little over a minute for Dinwiddie to get it done now!!

3 ints — give Johnson the MVP.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Too bad for the Bombers!! It was a heroic effort by the Bombers and they almost overcame the most challenging of situations a team could face in the Grey Cup!!

It was still an exciting Grey Cup game!!

Well, congratulations to the Riders.

I admire Kent Austin a lot. What he has endured with his family, and football. Way to go.

Valiant effort by the Bombers, especially on Defense.

Canada, Brown, Haywood, et al. Well done.

Congratulations to our Lions also. A great season fighting through adversity. We came up against a team on a mission.

Winnipeg played well defensively. Can't help but wonder what if Kevin Glenn was healthy today ?

Let's be honest -- that was not a very well played game. Both QBs were poor, with completion percentages well south of 50%. Charles Roberts, who had said it was his destiny to win Grey Cup MOP, rushed for about 50 yards. I guess we got spoiled with so many classic Grey Cups over the years, but this one was not exactly a work of art.

Agreed. Mediocre all around.
