That turned around in a hurry. 14pts on the board, all but 3 by the defences.

Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Well, sheeit. So much for the good fortune for the Bombers.

Youthful mistake by Dinwiddie.

Love those crossing patterns when the opposition tries to complete them against zone coverage. What a hit on Flick!! The Chap must have been an advisor to the Riders on that play!! :bang:

If Winnipeg doesn't get more creative on offense, they are toast. Their defense is playing great but their offense is playing way too safe and conservative. All it's going to take is a few more mistakes and the Riders are going to come alive. Despite all the great defense by the Bombers, they're now trailing at the half. They have to start stretching the Riders defense or else this one is over.

Dinwiddie is going to have to make some plays in the 2nd half.

They have to get Charlie going. Hopefully, the Rider D will get a little tired, and then it is time for Charlie.

When the sun goes down, and the moon comes out, it is time for CHARLIE.

Really messed up Joe! The interception was a killer!!

Oh well...it's still only three points but it looks like "mo" has left the building! The Bombers need a huge play or a big turnover in the third quarter or things don't look good!!!!

Man, the Bombers have caught Kerry Joseph in a one-dimensional mode. He can't pass today. All he can do is run.

But, waddayagonna do? Kevin Glenn is hurt. The gods are seeing Green.

Dinwiddie on a great pump fake hits Armstrong deep for a touchdown and it's tied.

Sometimes you just gotta stick with your starter...no rusty Kenny Ploen or Tee Martin coming in for the second half~~

It's still a game and it's still an exciting Grey Cup..."we" couldn't be asking for more at this point!!

Looked like a bad spot for Ssk on that 3rd down gamble. I thought he had it but I knew it would be short as soon the official put his foot down shy of the 10 to mark the spot. Good call to challenge but will it be overturned?
