Re: D appreciation thread...
Couldn't agree more. And especially with the reduction in local media over the years, this site becomes more and more important to get my Lions fix. Thank you, thank you!

Re: Potential Lions 2025 free agent list
Anyone know if Covington is still under contract for next year? If so, what the cap hit is? I thought he got stronger as the year went on, but didn't get as many snaps as you'd expect for probably having the most tackles for a loss in the 2nd half.

Re: BC Lions Uniform History Poster
I do like the Fog Greys. Striping on the arms reminds me of the 80's whites with burnt orange pants. My favourite. Not a huge fan of the blacks, as numbers tough to read with orange in black. And don't get me started on our helmets. No strips and now no logo, just the interlocking BC? I'd love to ...

Re: Buck Pierce Named Lions Head Coach
It's been pretty quiet on news in potential co ordinators and assistant coaches. Anyone hearing anything? I'm sure Buck is talking to people, but find it odd nothing yet, while Edmonton has their co ordinators just days after Killam was hired. TO even rumoured to have signed Monsoon.

Re: Campbell Fired
Great post Blitz, I agree that another top offensive mind might do JM some good. Perhaps working with a Buck Pierce would open his playbook, especially run blocking schemes. Let's hope EE don't sway him home.

Re: BC Lions Coaching Changes
Interesting for sure. Underwhelmed by the US FA's brought in this season, but was Ringmaiden with the Bombers recently? If so, and based on their recent success, I'd say he is probably well connected in US football circles which was a strength of Bobby Ackles. Now who can he lure to coach and bring ...

Re: WSF: Lions at Riders Nov. 2, 2024
Thank you to all the great insights throughout the year from everyone on this forum. I live and die with this team and this forum makes it even more enjoyable. Teams figured us out after that Calgary loss earlier in the season and we just couldn't or wouldn't adjust. I think Ringmaiden needs to ...

Did Eley play today? Was on yesterday's depth chart, but noticed Varga at Middle LB all game and Router getting in when we went 3DL sets.

If only we could play Montreal in the West Semi Final. 2 lopsided wins; 1 each for Adams and Rourke. Hopefully some momentum and confidence for them to build on....

Nice to see we aren't the only team that has arrogant coaches that adjust to the other teams strengths? We does Thorpe continue to Blitz and play man? Plays right into our desire of throwing long. The formula on how to beat us, isn't exactly a secret

Re: Lions at Riders Oct. 12, 2024
Totally agree Maxlion. Alot of people pointing at QB, when we have huge issues giving QB time, receivers not getting open, above average dropped passes, vanilla special teams and a D that always gives up high completion % and is on the field too long as a result. Then throw in a 1 dimensionable ...

Re: Lions at Riders Oct. 12, 2024
Coaching isn't the biggest problem (although it is far from the caliber of the top teams in the league) it's player recruitment/evaluation. We threw a bunch of money at some good, but not elite receivers and Hkadik, but we continue to have the worst O line and D line in the league. Everyone knows ...
