Sean Whyte had a field goal blocked against Ottawa, and it was said that was the end of his streak.
But he had two? blocked in an earlier game.
Does it depend upon where the kick is blocked to considered it a miss? If the kick is blocked in the backfield and doesn't cross the line of scrimmage, that is not a miss, but if the ball manages to advance beyond the line of scrimmage, it is?
When is a block a miss and when isn't it?

My guess is that is that if it's kicked it's a FG Attempt but if it's a bad snap or dropped ball and not kicked, I don't think they count that as an FG Attempt.
Here' CFL rules on FG scoring:
I don't recall nor can I see any earlier missed or blocked FGs.
The stats aren't up to date but they measure FG Attempts and FG Made and show the % but no column I don't think for those that were blocked.

https://cfldb.ca/rulebook/scoring/definitions/A field goal is scored by a drop kick or place kick (except on a kickoff) when the ball, after being kicked and without again touching the ground, goes over the cross bar and between the goal posts (or goal posts produced) of the opponent's goal.

I think he had 2 converts blocked not FGs. But I seem to remember years ago when DeAngelis was chasing paul McCallums streak (maybe Luis?) he had one blocked and it didnt count as a miss. but i could be mistaken or maybe the rule changed.

Rule VIII only seems to cover possession on blocked kicks, not statistics
Sec 1--- A ball that is kicked and is touched by or comes into contact with and opponent and then crosses the line of scrimmage in flight is not a blocked kick. Such a ball shall be considered as in the same category as any kicked ball that crosses the line of scrimmage in flight and the fact that the ball came into contact with an opponent shall be disregarded

I missed this.
SECTION 3 – BLOCKED KICK
Article 1 – Definition
A blocked kick is a kick from scrimmage in which, after being kicked, the ball is prevented from crossing the line of scrimmage because of contact with an opponent or a player of the kicking team who is offside.
It is a deflected kick not a blocked kick if, on a kick from scrimmage, the ball is touched by or touches an opponent or a player of the kicking team who is offside and then crosses the line of scrimmage. Such touching of the ball shall be disregarded, and the Kicking team players must allow 5 yards to an opponent attempting to gain possession.
If the kicked ball, after being touched prior to crossing the line of scrimmage, should strike any part of the receiving team’s goal post assembly in flight without touching the ground, an official or a player, it shall be declared dead immediately and awarded to the receiving team on its 30-yard line.
