Attendance predictions for the West Semi-Final on Sunday:
Moderator: Team Captains
I got my lower bowl tix for me and the kids already (sec 218). Looking forward to the game and glad to see the upper deck open, but it's selling slowly. Prediction: 29,250.
I hear you B.C.FAN. This may be hyperbole but frankly, it's nice to hear the owner come on a podcast and hype the game. It may spur more people to buy tickets when they hear a number like that. People here like events and being a part of something big.
Even if they 'only' get to 30,000 for the game, that's a nearly 60% increase from the last West Semi-Final here against Winnipeg.

Roar, You Lions, Roar
Just looking at the ticket grid man they sold a lot of tickets in the upper deck with a great push all day today I could definitely see 35,000
Which would be great the last time the lions played a WSF with that kind of crowed was in 1986 against Winnipeg we’re they had 40,000
And that was only because they changed the playoff format were the game was on a Saturday

I was at that 1986 game. It struck me as a disappointing and rather lifeless crowd. Being played early on Saturday afternoon probably contributed to that feeling.ddanny wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 9:28 amJust looking at the ticket grid man they sold a lot of tickets in the upper deck with a great push all day today I could definitely see 35,000
