A tragedy to be sure. She was only 2 months older than me in fact. Sadly another in a long line of stars that train wrecked on the excesses available them owing to their fame and fortune.

I can't help but think that medically prescribed drugs played a part in her death. Just as they did with Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson.Sir Purrcival wrote:A tragedy to be sure. I was never a fan of her powerhouse singing, except when she sang the National Anthem for the Super Bowl, 1991. That was the best rendition of it that I have ever heard.
