Good game. Entertaining.

Yonus and Andrew did it for us in the second half.

Lulay played well IMO except for 2 brain farts.

No running game for us. We dodged a bullet.

I thought Burris was not on his game also. Although his passing yardage was very good.

Hard hitting game by both teams.

It is fun to watch Brandon Browner play defence. He cheats quite a bit, but the DBs need to do that on occasion.

Hyland is awesome. I saw him at practice for a few weeks. He is something special.

Nik Lewis is a terrific player. I know lots of guys liked that hit. I did not. He could have made the block without putting a guy's health at risk. Borderline legal IMO. Hockey has made hits from the side like that illegal, and I agree with it.

Calgary has excellent speed on D.

Oh my god. What a game. What a finish.

Penalties 13 - 9. Stamps had more.

So, Lulay was starting to grow on me, but is it just me, or can he not see down field? Every pass I can remember was to the flat to Robertson. It was either to Robertson or run with it.

And another thing, was I the only one who saw Calgary receivers jump the snap on their running starts? I saw it on Lewis' TD, and towards the end. At least they caught it once, but come on.

Sounds alot like what Ricky Ray has survived on the past few years, the dump pass. Lulay still needs to grow, as he has to throw the ball away when he doesn't have anything in front of him to avoid the sack.

Lewis was tagged with two offsides that IR. What gets me more is the Cornish off tackle runs that the outside contain on the Lions gets held which allows Cornish to gain the 10+ yards.

I thought Lulay did okay this game, in terms of finding ways to move the ball and especially by not getting down on himself after Int's.

That Int that PJax stripped was a massively important play for him, he could have gotten down on himself on the "gift" series, but instead shrugged it off and moved us into FG range. For a young Qb that is tough to do and expect.

Thought this was a tough, hard fought football game that came down to the last series and yet another BC Rookie sealed the deal with a Int.

This is an outstanding class of rookies this year, Amp Reddick Franks, Hyland, Sol-E Adam Leonard, Khalif Mitchell, Y Davis.

The defence really stepped up and held the Stamps to a field goal in the second half.

After giving up 346 rushing yards last week, the Lions held Calgary to 96 yards tonight.

Having a five-man rotation on the defensive line really helped keep the Lions fresh. Richard Jones made a big impact with a first-quarter touchdown.

McCallum is money. Five for five, with the game in the balance.

It's nice to come out on the winning end of close games for a change. May that trend continue through the playoffs.

The Lions hold the season series with the Stamps on point differential. It doesn't mean anything except as a point of pride. Winning both games in McMahon this year is a proud accomplishment, and will help the Lions if the teams meet again in the postseason.

Edited to correct McCallum's field goal total.

The thing we have to remember is it's only his 2nd year in the league. How many other CFL QBs have done what he's doing in their second year? IMO, Lulay is much farther along in his 2nd year than Quinton Porter is in his 3rd.

Wow. That was a roller coaster ride. Nice to see Tad Crawford lay out Lewis!

Stamps held the Lions to only 30 yards in the 3rd quarter. The OC has got to make better adjustments.

Yes, Lulay made 2 mistakes. But when you consider the pressure a QB is under, and when you consider how often they have the ball in their hands, I would say it is more important to consider how many plays they make that help their team get points.

IMO he is on track for a good career in the CFL. He has his confidence back, and is quite ocmposed. His mistakes were in not folding a play up when there is nothing there. IMO ...

I thought Tad Crawford had a monster game. He was very physical tonight. The only mistake I noticed was the missed tackle on Nik Lewis. Lulay was not bad. Probably should have taken the sack instead of throwing it for the INT, but he's growing. He's improving each game, but he will need to work on not turning the ball over and over time he should be fine.

What I'm worried about was the offense not being able to move the ball late in the game when it counted. If it wasn't for the big returns for Davis, we wouldn't have gotten the late field goals. Calgary kicked the ball to us with a 1:40 left on the clock, but all we could do was a two and out. I thought we were gonna lose when it was two and out and Burris gets the ball back in such good field position
