You think anyone is going to trade for Rourke at $750K after how he has played since returning to the CFL? Same reason we won’t see VA… the Lions are stashing him because if plays poorly they won’t be able to trade him at $500K with 50% guaranteed in 2026.

This team is an embarrassment. A roster loaded with players than any team would love to have, yet they are basically an “all-star” version of the Calgary Stampeders.

Playing zone in the end zone??? I never knew that was a thing... but even so, to play so that you are nowhere near a receiver when the ball is thrown? The db is 5 years from the receiver??? There was more space between the Lion and the receiver than there was between the Lion and the out of bounds end zone marker.... Jeeez Louise!!!

I am not a coach and know what's the issues in the dressing room - but if QB struggles and you mentioned publicly that both QB.s are there for each other, what is the harm in using the alternate QB. Its like if you have two decent goalies in hockey and one struggles a bit - make the change and see if the plays can be improved. Its a team game.

Losing by 20+ so far in the third is a bit shocking at this point. Rourke has not drove any TD for the last while. If not in this game, certainly look at the next.
