yeah i'm getting the feeling that Campbell really has no idea how the team is going to play on any given night.

Well then that’s on him and his coaches.

This is inexcusable at this time of year battling for first place.

Campbell set the tone tonight with a poor challenge on an iffy play 55 seconds into the game.

That is the moment when the game was over. He had no business throwing that flag, and if someone told him to they should be fired.

As Wally always said, you are what your record says you are! The Lions are an average team.

As the O struggled there was far too much "gunslinging" with long poor-percentage pass attempts instead of shorter passes, screens and swing passes to get things unclogged. That also contributed to the 7 sacks. And I join the chorus wondering about the coaching and why this team isn't ready to play far too often.

They are horrible.
Close ? I was there at the end of last season. It's looking that was a sensible position.

This. Said exactly that to my partner at the time, that was not going to be overturned and that set the tone for the next drive of more negativity. Far too early to gamble losing a challenge there.

First half looked like a repeat of that Bombers game, even if they did score.

How many first downs did they make prior to that touchdown drive?

And even that drive wasn't all that impressive

As much as the oline didn't play well, but where were the quick hitters and screen passes to slow down the pass rush. Seemed like every sack the Lions gave up, Rourke/VA were waiting so long for the receivers to get open for a long pass.

Also hard to blame the defense on this game. The Lions offense started the game with three 2 and outs. Defense barely got to rest and they are back out there again.

In the third quarter I remarked that one difference for Kelly vs Rourke and Adams was that if he went to his second or third read it was open save a handful of plays. The Lions' scheme simply did not have that available save generously two drives. I think Kelly read the rush better than both Lions QBs but he then also had an open option for 8-15 yards a play.
