Re: CFL Coaching & GM Changes for 2024

No mention of Beau Baldwin being added to the Calgary coaching staff with yesterdays football ops announcement. Could be it wasn't high enough on the pecking order to be mentioned although I thought it was a step in the right direction for Jake Maier when they announced it a few months back. Things do change.

Yesterday's announcement was all about their Football Ops staff as opposed to their coaching staff. The official announcement re: their coaching staff was made back in late January. Baldwin was a late addition to that and announced last month.

Said it before but Molly Campbell has a lot of years in football administration and would make a very good club president. She would be an excellent choice for Edmonton imo.

Nice to hear that Chris Rainey has landed a high school coaching job in Ocala, Fla. It was mentioned that he had been operating as the Chris Rainey Speed Shop which I found very appropriate. IMO he had great running form. Wishing him the best in the new job.

Chris Jones would be a good candidate to lead an expansion franchise if he was interested in trying again.

He may be back sooner than later.

It could be said he has experience in that regard because he turned the Elks into an expansion franchise with the bonus being they didn't have to pay an expansion fee!!!
