I was sorry to hear about the passing of Pete Ohler, who was not only a Canadian quarterback on the 1964 Grey Cup champion Lions but was a local Vancouver College product. As a backup to Joe Kapp, Ohler's main duty was to hold on field goals but he got the rare opportunity to throw a TD pass in that 1964 Grey Cup victory against Hamilton.
