Being a fan from the sorta distant Okanagan, starting in the 70s kept my memories to a minimum but still managed to get a couple in.

-remembering watching training camp in Penticton in the 70s and thinking it was so cool to see the players without their helmets on...

-wish I could remember the details but it was back in the 70s (had to be) and my small hometown in the interior was all abuzz with "did you see the Lions beat the Esks last night?!?!". Had to be a big deal because of the infrequency of such an occurrence. I really need to figure out what game that was...

-my mom getting worked up over the mere mention of Angelo Mosca's name....
