The Bombers announced that Kevin Fogg would not play this Sunday due to injury and he missed practice on Wednesday but has not been rules out now. Bombers head coach Mike O'Shea wouldn't confirm how serious the injury is nor how long the rookie will be out.
“He's moving around out there,” O'Shea said, “so we'll just give him another day. Kickoff returner Quincy McDuffie would likely pull double duty if Fogg can't play.

Fogg is not on the Bombers 46 per the depth chart posted on their website. Shows as being moved to their 1G

The Lions have declared their 46-man roster, with no changes to the starting lineup from last week. Jeremiah Johnson starts at RB as expected, Anthony Gaitor starts at CB and Stephen Adekolu starts at boundary WR. Maxx Forde is added to the 46-man roster as a seventh DL, which suggests he'll likely be a game-time scratch.

Parker starting in front of Gaitor? Maybe it was more than bruised ribs? Parker did well filling in. Riders tested the wide side after Gaitor went down and Parker didn't even miss a beat

I have to wonder about 2 things>

First , why are there 3 WSF threads ? Is 1 not enough ?

Are we making this one the official GDT or choose any of the 3 ?

Second and more important, I am reading reports on CFL.ca forum there is only about 16,000 tickets sold.
The stadium seating chart shows tons of blue dots for sale.

That will not pump up the Lions. Even if this game is not included in the season package, I would have thought the 26,000 would run to the ticket office and grab them.

WTF is going on ?

The Lions are 12 - 6 , the second best team in the CFL and are most likely the only team that could beat the Stamps.

Any theory , assumption or explanation would be enlightening.

Gaitor is the starter. With the defence on top of the chart, the starters are on the bottom of the list.

The last time these two teams played each other in the playoffs was the 2011 Grey Cup game. In that contest our Leos prevailed over the 8-10 Bombers to win the Grey Cup.

Actually in 2011 the Winnipeg Blue Bombers had a 10-8 (not 8-10) regular season record and finished 1st in the East Division. And that game was played on November 27, 2011 and the Lions finally avenged the Grey Cup loss exactly 23 years earlier on November 27, 1988. And coincidentally, this year's Grey Cup will be played on a November 27, as was the 1983 and 1994 Grey Cups.

So in retrospect, how were your predictions and assessment?

Compared to the 2011 Winnipeg Blue Bombers, no doubt that the 2016 Blue Bombers were a heck of a lot better and gave the Lions a big scare. Unlike the 2011 Grey Cup in which the Lions never trailed and had significant leads.

But that was then and this is now.

So how about a comparison between the 2011 and 2016 Winnipeg Blue Bombers? I'll start off by saying that perhaps Matt Nichols is slightly more dangerous than Buck Pierce.

In the end, Matt Nichols turned out to be MUCH more dangerous than Buck Pierce.

McCallum has shored up the kicking game with Paul going 6/6 on his attempts including PATs for 14 total points. He has never missed a field goal in the playoffs for BC and that could be a big factor this weekend.

In the end, Paul McCallum didn't have any opportunity to make a field goal attempt.
