Final play after the Manny catch (he should have got down earlier!) and Jennings gets picked off in goal to wrap this 29-23 loss.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Eskimo defender pushed a Lion receiver in the back in the end zone on the last play. Not much of a push but lesser contacted has been called this year.

Didn't make a difference in the end but I agree, we were lucky to have that final play that went for an INT.TheLionKing wrote:Arceneaux should have immediately went down

Unfortunately we had no timeouts left to challenge it.Belize City Lion wrote:Eskimo defender pushed a Lion receiver in the back in the end zone on the last play. Not much of a push but lesser contacted has been called this year.

If Arceneaux just goes down on his own Edmonton just stands there and doesn't touch him until after the time runs out. Passing it over the middle was the stupid decision.sj-roc wrote:Didn't make a difference in the end but I agree, we were lucky to have that final play that went for an INT.TheLionKing wrote:Arceneaux should have immediately went down
