This team is just awful!
Let's have some half time adjustments starting with Lulay taking a seat. He has been horrible.

Any player taking a dumb penalty can be sent to the locker room. Time to get control of this team Tedford! Tell a Washing on to stay in the room and grab a Lionbacker out of the crowd to run the D. They couldn't do worse!

Maybe Lulay watching a series MIGHT spark the team but the schemes are *poop* and bland and predictable and shocking to me.

MIght because if the QB doesn't get some decent plays that match what Esks are doing nothing there.

I take it back on the 3 and 1...TSN shows two linemen tossed no hitter blocks on the left.

The Lions made too many mistakes in the first half to stay with the Esks. The failed third-down gamble inside the Edmonton 5, Leone's missed field goal which set up and Edmonton field goal and long TD pass plays to Simpson and Stafford. Lulay hit Arceneaux for a 46-yard TD but he missed Harris and Leonard, among others, on deep routes, and was picked on a bad-looking pass for Collie. Nichols isn't sharp and his receivers have dropped three or four passes but he threw for 194 yards and two TDs in the half. The Lions are making it too easy for him.

Brain dead coaching. Shaw has a great leg but after 1st FG BC gets Esks to kickoff and can't get to 30. Second one they take it on 35. Third one they try their luck again. Lawrence doesn't reach 30 and holding call puts them on 15. Esks in end zone few plays later after great return.

Sitting Lulay probably won't help the score line but it might help loosen him up and help his mental game.

The bright side is that Harris has 10 carries for 80 yards in the first half. Lulay's overthrow on the wheel route cost the Lions a possible TD though.
