Although I am a big fan, I am having a hard time convincing myself to pony up that kind of cash. Am I the only one? Thoughts.........

I don't think you'll have to worry about profiting unless BC is in it. History says if the home team isn't in it you will be fortunate to get face value. 2010 was the last time the home team didn't play in the GC game and I can tell you there were a lot of long faces on the dozens and dozens of folks who looked like they were likely season ticket holders holding up tickets they were trying to sell to people coming off the light rail trains outside of Commonwealth. Even with the Riders there they were not an easy sell.Upper Bowl wrote:Thanks for addressing this firstandgoal. The price is definitely ridiculous. I understand there's a lot more production value that goes into the big game these days, and that's a welcome reflection of the strides the CFL has made. But I think most of us still go to the Grey Cup to see the GAME, not the lip-synching pop stars they trot out for the halftime show; which I think is where some of our ticket price is going.
I'm buying the tickets, but if the Leos don't make the big game, I'll probably just flip them at face value. I'm not comfortable with the thought of making a big profit at the expense of another true CFL fan. Unless they're wearing green of course.
