Stupid penalty by Dante Marsh. He ought to know better
Re: Riders vs. Lions Game Thread
Parks is an outstanding defensive back.
Our receivers have been covered well so far on intermediate routes...we should go back to the short passing game. The Riders are not playing press coverage and are dropping off.
I haven't seen Harris really break a tackle and make a big individual play on a running play for a number of games now.

Re: Riders vs. Lions Game Thread
Harris had his first carry with a minute left in the quarter. So much for establishing the running game.
Re: Riders vs. Lions Game Thread
Time for Buck on the next series but our recievers are not getting open intermediate ..and that is obvious. We should be running some quick outs, slants, etc. and getting first down production. Second and 10 is not a recipe for success with a rookie qb.

I thought we ran Harris on our second series.TheLionKing wrote:Harris had his first carry with a minute left in the quarter. So much for establishing the running game.

Can't rely solely on our defence. Offence need to get untracked. Continuous 2 and outs are going to be our undoing.

Yup...and so much for swinging Harris out of the backfield on second and 3.....defenses key that play so much now.TheLionKing wrote:Can't rely solely on our defence. Offence need to get untracked. Continuous 2 and outs are going to be our undoing.

Re: Riders vs. Lions Game Thread
It's been an one dimensional offence so far for the Lions. Pass, pass and pass some more.
