Yes. Hamilton displayed those solutions on the first drive. Our offense doesn't have those types of solutions in the playbook.almo89 wrote:It seems like any team can play the Lions and blitz like crazy. Shouldn't there be a solution to this by now? It's been happening for too long

Another 2nd & short miscue.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Seems like Chapdelaine is back to his usual playcallingRammer wrote:Blitz doesn't seem to be slowed down at all. Might be seeing our depth at QB sooner than expected.

Nothing to combat the blitz.
Inexcusable for a pro football team.

Andrew Harris has to pick up the inside blitz. Twice he's set up outside and let Lulaybtake a clean hit.

Obvious which team made the adjustments from last week
Re: Lions vs. Ti-Cats Game Day Thread
Why would any team not blitz the Lions every down, they are untouched.
BTW, can someone actually cover Fantuz, he might get the ball thrown to him.

No one within 10 yards of Ellingson.

No one interested in covering Ellingston. *Edit* Phillips, of course.

Big mistake giving Lulay time by the TiCats.
Re: Lions vs. Ti-Cats Game Day Thread
Lulay with a nice intermediate pass. We need more of that
