Atta boy Bighill
Re: Lions vs. Ti-Cats Game Day Thread
Is it just me or are some of the yardlines thicker/whiter than others? Looks odd, not sure why that would be.
Another Lion two and out.
Another Lion two and out.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

3rd interception of the year by Parks
Re: Lions vs. Ti-Cats Game Day Thread
Parks with the momentum-changing pick! (and gets FM'ed in the process)
HAVE to punch this in — enough wasting these turnovers already!

Should have been an RP as well as the face mask penalty for tossing Parks down out of bounds.
Entertainment value = an all time low
Re: Lions vs. Ti-Cats Game Day Thread
First 1st down needed help with a flag and Lulay taking two large hits.....going to be a long game this way.

Yep, and just watch what happens the first time someone upsets Burris.Rammer wrote:Should have been an RP as well as the face mask penalty for tossing Parks down out of bounds.

Another wasted turnover with nothing to show for it on the scoreboard.

Excellent punt from McCallum
Re: Lions vs. Ti-Cats Game Day Thread
You just HAVE to be able to make that throw to Arceneaux at the CFL level. I know Travis has taken a pounding, but c'mon. He had all the time to throw and Arceneaux had 2 steps on the receiver!

Typical Lions drive. Can't convert in the red zone. Has to settle for a field goal
