I tried to hear the whistle ... do you think he might have missed it as Lewis looked to be running?

it's pretty apparent last year could be attributed to the dline coach we had last year, forget his nameKnowItAll wrote:one can only hope. Damn stupid that he is out there, specially if MB thinks they so many spare D players to use.Rodu wrote:Bye bye Khalif

Okay, looks like we have no choice but to create our own entertainment. So let's go:

Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Well I suppose it's better the Lions get blown out than lose a close one... hopefully getting embarrassed will be a wake up call for the guys. Now there should be some pressure on the team to prove themselves next week.
This is the closest I have been to turning off a Lions game in years.

I heard it quite easily on my end... but I also have a 7.1 speaker set up running so not sure if that's why. He looked to be down on contact and whistle had gone so I have no idea what his excuse could be.Toppy Vann wrote:Rodu wrote:Bye bye Khalif

This is just disgraceful. No excuses.

OK so what's the record for most points given up by the Lions in a single game?
The sooner Paul McCallum stops punting for this team the better. Bad enough watching his wounded ducks in the dome never mind in these elements. Might as well just gamble on every 3rd down.

Not sure if these are records but they're in the books:SammyGreene wrote:OK so what's the record for most points given up by the Lions in a single game?

We lost 68-43 in 1990 to Tor, and 42-0 in 1958 to Cgy.

Nik Lewis is playing sports trivia on the sidelines asking TSN when was the last time 3 QBs on the same team passed for TDs in the first half.
