I was kind of hoping Hamilton would get knocked out. They are a bit scary. And they pounded us in the regular season. And they are highly motivated against us. No matter. We will play whomever ...

WOW... there sure are a lot of empty seats in EDM! You would think that city would be happy to be in the PO's again. I guess the Oilers are playing tonight.

Yeah I noticed lots of empty seats there. Surprising.

Hoping the Schmos win. Their O Line has allowed 4 sacks already. Messam is gaining no yards. They seem lucky to be ahead.

It seems to me the Stamps are a more solid team. Their O Line looks vulnerable also. Nik Lewis looks very fat. LOL

They scored on their opening play. Drew Tate's fumble was costly. Hope for a closer so both teams open up their playbooks.

The cold weather looks to be doing the Lions a favour in the good way... I see a lot of guys getting up with more stingers and limps then usual.

Mtl had 33,051.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

I don't care what the claimed numbers are. There were A LOT of empty seats there. It seemed low for a PO game in EDM, especially considering their recent history. I guess the CFL isn't as popular in EDM as it once was.
