Had a traumatic experience today

A few months ago, I turned 55.

Went to a restuarant today.

Found myself looking at the back of the menu and thinking, these prices are pretty good.

Looked at the top and it said SENIORS MENU

55 plus

I never said a word, just paid the extra 2 bucks

I think I need a nap

Look at it this way.

The server didn't ask you if you wanted to order off of the menu, and didn't give you the discount, so even if you know you're 55, you apparently don't look it.

So there's that, at least.

I helped a 45 yr old buck up some fire wood for an eighty yr old guy. The eighty yr old guy out lasted the 45 yr old.
How old do you feel?

It's the first time I've felt sorry for you.

Getting chapped like that must have been a shock.

It's official, I've coined it.

Re: Had a traumatic experience today

Last home game, a pair of tweens, couldnt have been more then 13 but I am guessing 12, sitting behind my wife and I. Out walk the Felions. They made a few comments, my wife rolled her eyes at me and leaned over and said they would know what to do if a Felion got within 10 feet of them. I hear one lean over and go, "check out the one in the front row on the left she is hot," his friend goes, "you mean beside the old one?" Since when are the Felions old? It has been long times since I thought anyone who was a cheerleader was old.

I'd love you to say it to my face because you'd only say it once...if you ever had the courage to say it at all!! Blitz, 05/24/2008
