So now we have to cheer for the Argos and the Ti-Cats. Well, the Ti-Cats will be easy to cheer for, but the Argos? uggh. that is going to be hard, but I really hate those snotrags from regina.

My wife took the computer away from me as the minutes ticked down.
Wow, I thought the Lions were gonna blow one big-time.
What a catch by Geroy! What a throw by Bucky!
Go Lions Go.

I'm prepare to give McCallum the benefit of doubt as this was his first game in several months.
Re: BC Lions @ EDM Eskimos GDT - Oct 9, 2009
Well the shmoe fans can take consolation in that it was a exciting game then . Way to go Superman + Buck ! But give the o-line some credit there too they let Buck make that throw !hwgill wrote:Boy, the Schmoe fans must be pissed, even though, overall, even if we had lost, I would have said it was an exciting game to watch.

Hey it's easy to cheer for ANYONE if they're playing the riders .hwgill wrote:So now we have to cheer for the Argos and the Ti-Cats. Well, the Ti-Cats will be easy to cheer for, but the Argos? uggh. that is going to be hard, but I really hate those snotrags from regina.

Sooner or later, Ricky Ray was going to get his groove back. Unfortunately for us, he seemed to find it in the 2nd Half. But regardless, you're right in saying we need to work on a few things.The_Pauser wrote:Lol. Not asking for that, but some killer instinct would be nice. When leading by 16 points in the second half you would think that the offense could string together some first downs, and the DB's would tighten up on the oppositions best receiver. We got the win, but clearly the team has several things to work on before next week. Against Calgary we would have lost.Lion_Pride_26 wrote:Yeah, I mean geez! Why can't we win every game 50-0?The_Pauser wrote:Thrilled we won the game, but the way we played in the second half was not acceptable.

I dunno , maybe we should put Whyte back in , I mean a 20 yd punt put in the clinch ????TheLionKing wrote:I'm prepare to give McCallum the benefit of doubt as this was his first game in several months.

I'm with you. When you have your foot on your opponent's throat - press down.The_Pauser wrote:Lol. Not asking for that, but some killer instinct would be nice. I think this thread just set a new Lionbackers' record for most broken ankles climbing on and off the Lion Bandwagon during one game.

You're as old as you've ever been and as young as you're ever going to be.
