Tough to see a guy with his quickness go. Every time he touched the ball anything could happen, those types of players are hard to find.

Re: CKNW - Logan signs with Steelers
Enough of this crap. My biggest worry is whether we have seen Bret Anderson play his last down as a BC Lion! Who will we call on to fill in at (insert position) for (insert name) when they get hurt?
Does anybody remember the guy that came to camp with Logan last year? I think there was a story on him on the evening sports one night during camp where he said he had recommended Logan after he had signed. They were both about the same build but the guy that got cut had the better credentials (Amos Allen?).
When I look around the league and see the improvements that have been accomplished by a number of teams in a short period of time I am confident that this season will not see a major rebuilding of the Lions. As has been said many times in this and other threads, there is a lot of talent available out there, as long as your team's GM and coaches don't have their heads buried up their posteriors, players of adequate or superior ability will be found.
Only 120 days until training camp begins!

I honestly have no idea what the Steelers have planned for Logan other than on special teams. They may be expecting to lose a RB in the off season. The Steelers have a habit of giving everyone on their roster a fighting chance to play. Willie Parker was an undrafted free agent doing Kick off returns in his first year as a Steeler.Rammer wrote:Welcome CT, that is where we expect him to end up. Without having any signing bonus he is in tough to find a roster spot. We have seen a few CFL players avoid the mini camps without a significant signing bonus as they know that they are an after thought, especially if a draft pick is added to their position. Really Logan can do it, he is made for a wider CFL field and the speed vs the power that the NFL demands. One thing for sure, if he does get the touches as an RB, there will be plays that you will say to yourself "wow did I just see him do that". Enjoy and don't spoil him in Steel Town.
Here's a look at Stefan Logan's new house.

Roof? Only spoiled Southern teams and Detroit need a roof. Pittsburgh plays in the rain, mud and snow as football should be played.zark wrote:Hey, what happened to your roof?

"Smith? Nope.. Roberts? Nope... Logan! Uh, Logan...?? Darn..."
Do I hear some coaching staff saying "Hmm, whaddya think about going to a passing game instead?"
This is just further justification to get a velcro name and numbers for my jersey...
 all in jest, folks. Not trying to bash Ian Smart.

Smart has always looked good in spot duty. I would like to see him play a larger role in the offence.

Hey, that sounds like my job. That's the kind of weather I work in. I don't think I'd want to play in it. Don't let Logan see those video's.Clubtender wrote:Roof? Logan spent the 2008 season with the Canadian Football League’s British Columbia Lions where he was one the league’s top offensive threats. Logan, who was a contender for the CFL Rookie of the Year honors, led BC with 889 yards rushing and was fourth on the team with 477 yards receiving. Logan was sixth in the CFL with 1,366 yards from scrimmage and was eighth in combined yards at 1,770. Logan was fourth in the CFL in rushing yards and averaged 7.3 yards per carry.
“I’m working out and getting ready so I can represent myself, represent USD and represent the BC Lions,” Logan said. “I am going to go out there and do everything that I can to give it my all.”
