Commonwealth is not bad for that. I wear my colours to every game no matter what. You have to expect a little banter back and forth. I have had one bad experience there, and there are fans of other teams that can say the same about BC Place. Doesn't mean it's "bad for that".

It's ridiculous to say don't wear your colours and you'll be fine. Wear them, and be proud to do so.

That's what I was thinking. My brother lives in the Chuck and he always goes whenever the Lions are in town. Sure, he says he has to endure a bit of razzing from time to time but that doesn't dissuade him from going. I think the main thing if you're a Lions fan at CW is to avoid catching the attention of that stupid mascot of theirs!

One day I will have to make the trek out to Montreal, I have heard many good things about watching a game there.

* Good sight lines despite the track.
* Wonderful atmosphere in such a tightly packed space. Crowd really gets into it and has a great time.
* Strong game ops - music is much better than B.C. Place. They point the speakers up from field level (what a concept!).
* Dance team is unparalelled in the CFL (and would give many NFL teams a run for their money). They move in purrfect synch, all wholesome 'girl next door' hotties and take to the field no fewer than 6 times a game!
* Unique touches too. Like the 8 member African drum band that plays this LOUD hypnotic 10 minute drum beat on the concourse under the north stands at half-time.

I have a friend who isnt a football fan but when he is back in Montreal during football season he always tries to go to game. Said the same things you did, the atmosphere is awesome.

I heart Punter! Can I have him? I think one of the funniest things I ever read was a poster on 13th who said something like "I guess I musta been really drunk, cuz it took me 3 quarters to realize that he wasn't a baked potato!"

I saw the Geroys Corner sign in the stands. Geroy tossed a ball up. The cameras showed lots of Lion fans having fun. Didnt see any trouble on the tube. BB

I was at a game in Edmonton last year. Wore my orange Lions jersey. Never had a problem at all, not a peep. Even after the game (we won a close one).

It was a nice experience actually to be outdoors on a sunny, slightly cool day. The stadium and field looked great.
