Murphy

I am dying here just like all of you. Cant believe we lost this game after the way we kept coming back.

However, I told you the real murphy would show up

Re: Murphy

Murphy and Jimenez were outstanding. Their swagger was evident in this game.

Re: Murphy

The offensive line played well. I don't recall too many times that a Al defender touched Pierce. Hope this is a beginning of something good.

Should have used him for the one yard plunge, just to test his real determination.

Rasouli got beat and BP took a hard shot, but they were far and few between.

Rassouli also hasn't played for a while.

Sure. Except for the last 3 seconds.
Short yardage execution has been lacking for the past couple of years, but this year it has been abyssmal.

:beauty: You were bang on there. I was sold when he knocked an Aloette on his can after the play was over. The MTL player was whining to the Ref while on his butt

The Als had 12 guys in the box. You can't block 12. The line did its job. Two DBs found a gap and shot it. That's smash-mouth football. Not often a team makes three consectuve stops from the one-yard line. Congrats to the Als, but the Lions have nothing to be ashamed about.

Re: Murphy

I was one who was critacal of Murphy too and I'm glad to see he stepped up and played a great game this time. That one play where he blocked out two rushers was great .

That's because the Lions also had all their guys (with the exception of the quarterback and running back) all in tight on the line. Doesn't leave much to the imagination as to what play is coming.

Tackle elgiible yes! would have been brilliant...but our offensive stamina was really suspect at the 0.03 point last night.

Play selection was what it always will be... inferior until some imagination is injected into it somewhere, somehow, someway.

Re: Murphy

imagination? I hope you are talking about the last 3 plays and not the game. Otherwise just another critical fan trying to take potshots at our leos. Get behind the team!
