Yah someone making comments calling himself "Reality" sounding like someone who was fingered and his nose out of joint, has slagged lionbackers.com as

'guys in mom's basment'

and has sunk to the level of calling LU unprofessional, as representing the views of lionbackers for the lack of his own.

"Crediting a fan site with 'knowledge' is scary".

Sounds like Lu has hit an nerve with someone who knows he’s getting too close to the truth.

Not sure where the negative comments directed towards Jason Jimenez are coming from, I think most people hare have liked Jason's play this year. Personally, I think that he's been our best and most consistent O-Lineman all season.

Reality is not the sharpest knife in the drawer but it did generate a lot of feedback on the Ullrich blog today.

I doubt very much it is one of us but it sure sounds like a comment coming from someone who is not a typical newspaper reader. What used to surprise in my former public corporate exec times was how people would get others to write stuff for them and at times get caught when they were insiders.

Maybe it was Javvy Glatt as he didn't like a comment on him in the paper. Just kidding.

Jason Jimenez questioned a comment of mine on a public list I put together as to what might be affecting the Lions and that is when he noted the line is grading at 94%. He might have taken issue with one of Lionut's posts also.

His point in the stories is that he has been careful not to take a penalty and this might detract from some of the agressiveness in the past. When you are blowing out the opponents, a 15 yarder might not be so bad but as we saw from the penalties last game it might have been the difference on the day - Lions still had to score but the penalty ensured they didn't. I don't at all blame #60 for this as he rightly is focused on the issue and understands he might be being watched more than others - even after the play goes by as officials don't want to be accused of missing something.

Yes, the line might be more aggressive this game but as the HC himself notes, it can be a fine line between aggressive take it to them play and a penalty that in a close game will be a killer.

There is lots of stuff in the Scout Room - even I am allowed to see that stuff and I thought I'd be banned - but lots of the same kind of insights are posted here on the boards.

What Lowell has been seeing and saying is consistent with what regular attenders at practice are seeing and what fans in the stadiums and on tv see. That is what he was saying in his column.

It sounds like the team and coaches are making all the right sounds these days and the right message is being delivered. But this is also a very good team this week and they will be prepared also. Should be a good one.
