Any interest in Marcus Crandell?

I think that I know the answer to this question already but I am curious if there are any Lions fans out there that might have interest in Crandell as the Riders are trying to trade him.

Other than bringing in Dickenson ...the WB teams develop their own QBs. Why would he do it differently now.

Crandell is no saviour anyway. Dunigan who coached him said some time ago on the panel that same thing and said that Crandell will need help if the Riders are to win. Help just arrived it seems.

The ONLY thing that's happened for Crandell since the unlikely 2001 Grey Cup win and subsequent GC MVP..........is that he's gotten 7 years older !!........unless you want to count his Grey Cup ring for sitting on the bench in 2007.....

I would never, ever go near Crandell. I honestly can't believe he's still in the league. I'd sooner want Duncan O'Mahony kicking field goals for the Lions than Crandell playing QB.

While I think a vet like Crandell may help you guys out, I don't see Wally picking him up. Crandell could at least maybe help ut the guys you got by being another set of eyes and experience for the QBs to fall n. But I suspect his price tag and the fact you guys are a Western opponent doesn't bring him into BC. I suspect the Bombers may have some interest in him as he is at least a serviceable backup

Not only do I not think the Lions pick him up, I doubt any other team does as well.

Considering it's Crandel , I'd think the Riders would want to trade him to a western rival .
