Most Outstanding Player: Kerry Joseph - better end of season should win easily
Canadian: Jason Clermont - great season more noticeable position to get recognized
Defensive Player: Cameron Wake - deserves it plain and simple
Offensive Lineman: Dan Goodspeed - just a hunch here, Murphy may suffer for his bad boy image this year
Rookie: Cameron Wake - should be easy choice but Setta may get mercy vote
Special Teams: Ian Smart - Dorsey was only around for 1/2 a season
here is how I see the votes going. Setta may get the mercy win and that may be the category where I am wrong.

Re: 2007 Rogers CFL Player Awards Thread
Most Outstanding Player: Kerry Joseph - Have to give him props on a solid season and playing the most of any of the contending CFL QB's
Canadian: Jason Clermont - May be the only award that the Lions lose, it will be that close
Defensive Player: Cameron Wake - He is a monster, he is creating his own wake as a player in the CFL
Offensive Lineman: Rob Murphy - Close but the OL is a Dirty Position, that takes a bad boy to win it
Rookie: Cameron Wake - Not even close
Special Teams: Ian Smart - solid solid season, Mr. Positive yards while keeping the Lions in some games that they didn't deserve to be

Facts say it should be Wake I agree. but there is always that mindset of well he will DPOY so lets give ROY to the other guyRammer wrote:You are not thinking clearly WT (but it may be due to your GC weekwildthing wrote:Most Outstanding Player: Kerry Joseph - better end of season should win easily
