Damn well, yes, I would. There were no penalty flags. The league was monitoring and there was no violation.

End of discussion as far as I'm concerned - the Lions, BC Place and their fans are breaking no rules regarding canned noise.

I try to have grace in victory and class in defeat. Lions fans have been very classy tonight whereas some people might not have been had the outcome been different.

When you're trailing the entire game it makes it difficult for the fans to reach their full volume level. It's nice that you saw/heard enough today for your opinion to be fully cemented that it's 100% authentic. Imagine if we had a lead at some point today though.

The only high dB report I have is from the CBC broadcast - 107 dB - (correct me if I'm wrong please)

While I agree that there would not be any cheating going on, regardless, I still don't see how at times the crowd noise would ever be enhanced on todays volume level, the announcer was drowned out on a couple of occasions as it was.

I'm fairly sure that this is not the first year that the sound has been monitored, but if you need to leave an excuse open for the next time here for a playoff game I guess so be it.

Thank you. It takes 'cajones' to come back to this board and admit that accusation was all wrong, but this just shows your character makeup. Good job. Frankly, I had never really heard of all this "canned noise" stuff prior to this game and I was somewhat taken aback. It was something of an insult to imply that we actually need fake noise in such an electricly charged atmosphere as a West Final.

(and for the record, the volume would have been cranked up another notch had we been able to mount any kind of comeback. )
