This is Lions country. Get with the program here or move back to Saskatchewan. And take dB/chimpy with you. He will help with any attendance, promotion, roofs, stadiums, Beckham or Printers issues you have to deal with there.doughboy251 wrote:So we win the WF in BC instead of Regina... no big

It is a possibility, but we will address that if you make the flight out of Regina, don't count your chickens before they hatch.doughboy251 wrote:So we win the WF in BC instead of Regina... no bigPigSkin_53 wrote:Lions # 1 overall and WF at home again...

Cute cat, Solar Max.

Half the world loves cats.
Half the world hates cats.
Count me amongst the former.
If the Riders appear, I doubt that we have less than 55K, they just bring out the best vs the best in the CFL a week early IMHO.120dB wrote:Jim Mullin said he only expects 48,000 - 50,000 for the WF and a caller called up mentioning about how the population of Vancouver should show more support and fill the dome to the rafters

Sorry if I'm skipping over things already said in this thread, but 14 bottles of Alexander Keiths will do that for you (Thank God cause I needed it!!)PigSkin_53 wrote:Lions # 1 overall and WF at home again...

As much as I HATE both the Riders and the Esks, the Esks did get kinda robbed tonight. Not that it woulda made much difference, but wow, that final play, at least from the angles I saw it at... sketchy at best.
Glad the Lions have the WF at home, which brings me to a question, for the long time season ticket holders/fans who might know... my friend is going to be in PG for the WF, so he's going to sell me his ticket, BUT, my seat is 6 seats away from his. The seat next to mine has been empty all season (except for last game, apparently BB had that seat, but gave it to sj-roc (which was actually kinda cool since it was nice to be able to talk to someone who knew something about the game, who was also a Lionbacker.) so BB, if you own that seat a) shoulda been sittin' there all year buddy! and b) if you want to trade that seat for one in the same row, just 6 seats over (which is actually closer to the isle) just send me a PM, because I will have the empty seat in our section for the WF, but would like the one next to mine.
Does anyone know, if I call the Ticket ppl for the Lions, and I have the ticket for seat 5, but I want the ticket for seat 9, and myself and the seat holder are willing to show ID, sign whatever, IF seat 9 is unsold, will they exchange it for that game? As I have a... girl that I like whom I'd like to ask to the WF, but it would likely be a good thing if we could sit together, not 6 seats apart lol
Anyone know about that?

Let's be good fans!
Just a side note on that... if we do happen to play Sask in the WF, and there are Sask fans in your section (as there were in ours) while I have no problem with heckling, PLEASE don't start throwing things at them, like peanuts etc. I was very peeved at the ppl who did that to the old LADY Sask fan last year.Rammer wrote:If the Riders appear, I doubt that we have less than 55K, they just bring out the best vs the best in the CFL a week early IMHO.
We have more class than that Lionbackers! So (not that you needed to be told) if you see something like that, please do what you can verbally to stop it, or, call me

Seriously though, we don't need that. I'm a Flames fan, out here on the West coast, and I've been to 8 Flames vs nucks games at GM Place, and while I've been verbally abused and heckled, I've never had anything thrown at me or anything like that, and I tip my hat to the Canucks fans for that. We don't need that at Lions games. As much as Sask sucks and we hate them, let's have a clean victory shall we?
Thank you!

The people throwing stuff I doubt are any Lionbackers. Throwing stuff is unacceptable. As for doughboy, who has already counted out the Stamps should be careful. They have an explosive offence and your defence has been on the back of the milk cartons, as it has been missing the last 6 weeks.
