Karma
Buddhism, Hinduism:
The totality of a person's actions in any one of the successive states of that person's existence thought of as determining the fate of the next stage
Loosely fate; destiny
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Karma happens to he who preempts the natural order of grace by his actions which offend those who have lessons to teach, to those who have of need of them.
The Lions have offended no deity to my knowledge!
The Saskatchewan Rough Riders have been dogging our shadows since the first whistle this season, and their true glory rests in beating us out of our one shot at destiny, and robbing us of our chance to rival what only a few have been able to achieve.
To this end I have real and bitter enmity to them who would be cast as a thief!
Knowing this a possible outcome keeps us forewarned and forearmed...
Being neither a Buddhist, nor Hinduism I have concerns as to whether such reality over the normal affairs of men is valid or not, but still I hear your words of admonition and concur that I do not wish to tempt the fates with dishonor of our imminent rival.
Though I shall not exalt he who stands between us and our destiny though it may be given to them to steal it from us.

lets hope the lions are going to promote the hell out of this western final game and sell it out, it would be a dissgrace if they do not sell it out no matter what team it is. last year as i remember they hardly sold any tickets
until Sask made it in. they have to do a better job this year.
get 40,000 a week before the game amd go from there.

promote? go get your MBA and then talk about business and marketing
... waiting for that phone call from Saskatchewan to see if they take our offer ...
Great job, Lions organization ...

Ok, I was on the fence regarding your views until this.chimpy wrote:lets hope the lions are going to promote the hell out of this western final game and sell it out, it would be a dissgrace if they do not sell it out no matter what team it is. last year as i remember they hardly sold any tickets

How do you propose that they "promote" the Western Final?
Well I just got an email and the Lions are 'promoting' this Western Final. I think they are doing all they can, winning football games and being a great organization from top to bottom. If they don't sell out it is just because fans don't know what they're missing.Solar Max wrote:Ok, I was on the fence regarding your views until this.chimpy wrote:lets hope the lions are going to promote the hell out of this western final game and sell it out, it would be a dissgrace if they do not sell it out no matter what team it is. last year as i remember they hardly sold any tickets

If we can get 37,000 against Calgary in a regular season game, I think we can get at least 55,000 for this playoff game. I remember in 2004 they continued to update the playoff ticket sales on the radio and that seemed to get the ball rolling. People heard 40,000 sold, 45,000 sold and they wanted to be a part of it.
I think a sell-out is very possible.

I agree but , the lions just won the west again ,and 80 percent of the phone calls are about the canucks tonight, so that is the way it is going to be, i think if the lions can do the same marketing like this top statment say's then we will get 55,000 + and remember there is a canuck game that night people might want to spend thier money on one or the other not both,
