Clermont is a monster!!!

Just had to say something about Lion82 and his great catch tonight. How many other receivers in our league make that catch and then bounce up as fast as Clermont did tonight? Oh maybe PJ, but really, that was an awesome catch and I am glad we get to enjoy more catches like that for another three years. Even after Fantuz's big game last week and Cahoon's decent game today, I still think we have the best Canadian receiver in the game in #82. :rockin: :rockin: :rockin:

He got smoked after making the reception but immediately bounced back on his feet. Glad to see the fans gave him a standing ovation.

Awesome Catch. Awesome response to the hit, but then again he was BORN in Saskatchewan

He's a total Teflon receiver. Any coverage, any hit just slides off of him like so much grease and muck. What a powerhouse.

Clermont

P Jackson

Boden

Nicholson

The Canadian talent at receiver for the Lions is unmatched. It's easy to forget that Boden is only 20 years old.

And Clermont is a guy you want on your side when you go to war. Clermont is a Clydesdale workhorse.

P Jack is climbing fast up the list of top receivers in the league.

I think Loftus was thinking he had just destroyed Clermont and probably separated the ball yet with Clermont holding the ball and getting up sort of shocked him and took away any momentum the Esks would have had if Clermont did not hold on to the ball. HUGE catch by lion82!!!
Thank you for everything you did for OUR Lions Mr.Ackles, we will never forget you...RIP

Man, now I know how allied tank crews musta felt watching their shells bounce off the armour of the german Tiger tanks in Normandy. Jason Clermont is built like a tank, and the way he just shook that hit off, the boost it gave the crowd and the whole Lions bench was enormous, and I'm pretty sure I saw some heads hang down in dejection over on the Esks bench.

I know the refs did everything they could to help Edmonton win, but when you saw the way Clermont took that hit and bounced back up, it was over, there was no way that the Lions were not going to gut this one out!

Beautifully done JC! :s: :rockin:

That was a thing of beauty. JC's reaction to the hit, jumping to his feet, no helmet, spinning the ball as if to say "is that all ya got?!" Flat out awesome! JC's a stud. Loved the crowd rising to their feet after the hit.

:rockin: Was a super catch after taking a huge hit. No doubt it brought the whole team up and definitely made edmonton sag. He has got to be our Canadian player nominee for sure this year

I think what got the crowd up was the fact that he jumped back up and was visibly pumped.

I could feel this rush as the Crowd was amazed and JACKED that he caught and sloughed off a brickwall hit.
