A purrfect christmas would be if everyone who had what they needed, gave to those who did not, instead of each other.
A purrfect christmas would be if everyone who had enough food, fed those who did not, instead of themselves.
A purrfect christmas would be if everyone shared themselves and their homes with those in need, instead of just with family and friends.
As Christmas is to be the celebration of Christs birthday, then the method of celebration should be to give to Christ as we give to each other on our own Birthdays. Mathew 25: vs 34-40 shows us how to do that.
To celebrate any other way, for any other reason, is false, and to this false and worldly commercialized Christmas, I again say, HUMBUG. One can say merry christmas and sing carols till hell freezes over and it dont mean squat without purrfect adherance to giving to Christ through giving to others, not just on the side, but the whole thing. Throwing a few dollars in sally ann's pots on the way home to a feast with an armfull of presents for family and friends doesnt cut it. It isnt just the unbeleiver that gets it wrong, but so many of the "born again" who fall short. And yes, I too fall short, never liking the way most of us do Christmas, but going along with it anyhow. Thankfully, there are some out there, both born again and otherwise, who do get it right, whether it be for Christ, or just their own Godly spirit of Love and Caring for the others.

Relax...........................
Okay, we're cool.
Have you all started your Christmas shopping yet? I'm pretty much done with mine. If anybody asks me what I would like for X'mas, I'd say that BC Lions championship memorabilia would be a great gift idea.
