Re: Please explain to me how Nik Lewis caught that ball
Ya, Buck needs to avoid the hits, but when they call "roughing the passer" on the garbage contact on Burris, then where are the calls on the blatant hits on Buck in this game and during the Edmonton game? I call BS on the officiating.. again.

Re: B.C. Place Roof In Jeopardy??
I'll echo Hambone's and Toppy Vann's comments regarding the forestry industry - as someone who left the pulp/paper industry (fortuitously before the downward cycle), I've seen companies lay off hundreds and hundreds of employees and shutter (partly and/or fully) half a dozen mills that I knew of. Fa...

Re: Official "Lions better beat the TiCats" Game Day Thread
I hope the receivers who lobbied for Chap's return are happy. Perhaps Christie Buono has the answer to the Lions' woes. Christie Buono for OC? JC can do interviews... that's a job that can use repetitive actions: "hold microphone this way, ask player what they thought of the game/other ...

Re: Esks fine two Lions for souvenir ball toss
What's next, Edmonton? Ripping a souvenir game ball from some kids' hands? Perhaps you should take away any souvenir balls given to sick kids too, especially at any charitable functions. God forbid you show any charity at all. Even more justification to dislike anything Evil Empire related. Idiots.

What a prima donna... I'd keep him on the team though, as a waterboy perhaps.

Re: New Lionbackers.com format - feedback?
I guess it's because I have been reading books on my PDA in the white on black format for so long that I find no problem with it. I actually find the dark background easier on the eyes. And if it's SO important to see who wrote the post on the left, it is still there. The poster's name shows up und...

Re: New Lionbackers.com format - feedback?
I have to say that after reading for awhile I like the new 'author on right' thread layout - you can get right into reading the text and skip past the author details. The color contrast while in the message thread is nice, and I like the black highlight that shows your current position in the forum ...

Re: New Lionbackers.com format - feedback?
I'm not sure... normally I don't mind changes to forum appearance, but there's something about the topic list (Board index) that makes it kind of hard to read. While it's very 'crisp', it also seems like the brightness of the font is cranked up a notch, and the thread titles seem to be lost in the c...

Re: CKNW - Logan signs with Steelers
"Smith? Nope.. Roberts? Nope... Logan! Uh, Logan...?? Darn..." Do I hear some coaching staff saying "Hmm, whaddya think about going to a passing game instead?" This is just further justification to get a velcro name and numbers for my jersey... all in jest, folks. Not tryin...
