Re: Should the Nervy Ed Hervey be punished?

I agree that no suspension is warranted as he is correct that there are no superstars in the CFL. However he isa first class ass hat for saying what he said to the media.

Re: Potential Lions 2025 free agent list

In my opinion we were the weakest team in the league at Linebacker once Woods got injured. They made a lot of tackles but only after opposing players would gain significant yardage. We were slow side to side and did not do a great job in our drops. This new regime seems to want to get bigger and ...

Re: Which high-priced receiver is on the chopping block?

Cottoy and McInnes are both Canadian starters, there is no way either one of these guys should be going anywhere. Hollins or Hatcher should be moved. American receivers are a dime a dozen and are easy to replace.

Re: Potential Lions 2025 free agent list

Tuehema isn't a pending FA. He signed a 2 year deal this past January.

But maybe this violation leads to him being made an FA.

It's possible, but I notice that the banned stimulant Amfetamine is an ingredient in the ADHD drug Adderall. Until I know more, I would give Teuhema the ...

Re: CFL Coaching & GM Changes for 2025

Well if Buck is here and JM goes to Winnipeg I am curious to see what happens to the run games of both teams.

Re: BC Lions Coaching Changes

Ed Hervey named GM in Edmonton, what does this mean for Geroy?
Would love to see him back here in some capacity.

Geroy was a great player and a super well liked person, but what has he done to show that he is worthy of a front office position? The last two years he has gone on record at the ...

Re: BC Lions Coaching Changes

We need to fix our broken defence with an attacking one. I would go after Thorpe from Montreal.

Same old D can't get off the field 13 plays for a score, 11 plays for a score. This is our 4th possession with 3 minutes left in the half.

Re: WSF: Lions at Riders Nov. 2, 2024

The big play offense is our only chance today.
Need to score early and often.

We can't run against them or stop them.

Go Lions 🦁

Re: Ambrosie to step down once successor is found.

One of the biggest feathers in Ambrosie’s cap is the league’s new agreement to broadcast games on CTV for the first time in almost 40 years. The big payoff should come in the playoffs and Grey Cup, when the league’s biggest spectacle will be able to reach a much bigger audience than through TSN. I ...

Re: Leos/Riders Post Game Thoughts

Lions can’t play from behind. They are also going to have to quiet that crowd by getting out front. Simple road team formula to win in.

Lions D had better learn to get aggressive, as DanoT points out our blanket D counts on a mistake or two o by the QB/receivers in order to kill drives. Riders ...

Re: Lions vs. Alouettes Oct. 19, 2024

It should have been stated that both Rourke and Adams would get a half each. Let the offence sort itself out that way. Lions biggest problem is on a D that can’t pressure the QB and doesn’t cover within 5 yards of receivers. Mix in the lack of second and long opportunities and they are lucky to be ...

Re: Week 19, 2024 Season

Two things stood out to me in this game.

1) THe Winnipeg fans booing their team at the end of the first half.

2) Allowing Winnipeg to challenge the turn over at the end of the game. If all turnovers are reviewed by the command centre., and the command centre ruled it a turnover, why would they ...

Re: Leos Stamps Post Game Thoughts

I agree with you David, Abbott criticized the Lions defence for not getting turnovers and then when they get 4 he says they were lucky.

I Have never been a fan of his stories He thinks he is the smartest person In the room , and always writes his stories trying to reflect that. Too many times in my ...
