Re: CFL Playbooks
I have a couple, an Eskimo defensive playbook from '94 and a Saskatchewan book from late '80's early 90's. And, from the Lions a defensive playbook they used for the Senior Bowl in 2001, I think, also Team Canada's defensive book from 2006(?). Check out http://www.coachteed.com that's where I got th...

Re: Edmonton road trip
My parents camped there when they came to visit us in Edmonton. I think I remember there being a lot of mosquitoes at the site, but its like that a lot on the Praires. The site is relatively close to West Edmonton Mall and reasonably close to the LRT (Edmontons Sky Train). Anyways, I'm happy to see ...

Re: Edmonton road trip
I think a campsite called 'Rainbow Valley', is located right in Edmonton. It feels like a real campsite, trees and all. From there drive to Southgate Mall (about 5 minute drive) and catch the LRT to Commonwealth. If you're drinking it would be a cheap cab ride to the Mall. http://www.rainbow-valley....

Re: Canadian Writers Take on the Grey Cup :(
I agree with a few items; the father not being a fan, wrong network, lame commercials (not reason enough, thou), Sunday night phenomenon, and no Grey Cup party invitations. I think those are all contributing factours in the Grey Cup taking a 'back seat' to the Super Bowl by the metro-sexual, social-...

Line up with Lumbala and Smart in the I-formation behind Printers and run the QB-Option. And snap the ball on 'first sound.'

Re: Congrats to Andrew Harris and the Vancouver Island Raiders!
How was the game? I tried and tried and tried to watch it on the internet but it wouldn't work. Very frustrating!!! Darn it.....Glad the Raiders won, I might be the only Raider fan in Edmonton (import from Nanaimo) but I enjoy going 'against the grain.' Go Raiders, Go Redmen and Go Lions !!!!! Raide...

Re: Gotta blame this on the coaches
I'm starting to think that the coaching philosophy for the Lions is 'If it isn't neccesarily broken then don't be in a hurry to try fix it.' That would explain why it wasn't untill the fourth quarter when the Lions tried a different way to counter the blitz, by sending the RB out for a 'safety valve...

Re: Disgraceful officiating CFL is bush league
"Did anyone else notice the Lions had 13 players on the field during the last play of overtime?" No I didn't notice, but I did notice that Luca Congi wasn't penalized for taking off his helmet while still on the field after he missed the field goal with 2 seconds left to play. Is that stil...
