Marketing Idea....
Moderator: Team Captains
I have a Montreal Expos tie that is quite stylish if I do say so, myself - and would most certainly wear a Lions tie. Getting it produced and marketed might indeed be a challenge, but as you point out, anything to further develop the Lions brand would be a benefit.

Remember the fish tie several years back ? There was a long lineup of men at the cashiers on Boxing Day wanting a refund.

Ties are not exactly comfortable to wear at the best of times. Wearing one to a casual fun time at a football game would be too restrictive.
Don't think you'd sell too many of these anywhere. But at least you're trying to find new ideas.

A good idea .... I suppose they could sell these at all those retailers that carry Lions gear ... o nevermind

1) I don't own any ties now.
2) If I did I don't know how to tie one up.
3) Ties kinda look stupid at work when your normal office attire is a t-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers......unless you want to dress up and wear a golf shirt.
Actually I lied in the statement 1) above. I do own one. It's been stuffed in a drawer for the last 15 years since I bought it for a job interview. The lady at the clothing store was nice enough to do it up then loosen it off so on interview day I could pull it over my head and cinch it up. Soon as I left the interview I untied it making it effectively useless due to 2) above.

You're as old as you've ever been and as young as you're ever going to be.

Weathermen (ahem..."meteorologists" ) don't wear ties anymore. Neither do Lions fans. Except me, and even then I only wear one for big business meetings and at weddings).
Not trying to slam your idea James, but I just don't see a market for them.
