http://www.tsn.ca/cfl/story/?id=366375Montreal-born receiver Kito Poblah of Central Michigan will be eligible for next Friday's CFL supplemental draft.
It is expected that a team (likely the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, with the first pick) will forfeit its 2012 first round pick to select him.
Last season, Poblah caught 44 passes for 558 yards and 11 kick returns for 220 yards in 12 games with the Chippewas.
Earlier this month, the Blue Bombers picked linebacker Henoc Muamba from St. Francis Xavier with the first overal selection in the CFL Canadian Draft.
Story with Kito Pblah is "he could not get his paperwork in order in time for the Draft"
For me, not buying it, imho it appears he simply did not submit the paperwork on time as he suspected he would be taken as a #1 pick in the supplemental draft wereas in the regular draft he would arguably be behind Anthony Parker and Etienne and maybe Iannuzzi.
That is just my opinion, he maybe very well worth our #1 pick in 2012,.
