Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

There's no expiry date on them As far as I'm concerned, the 2008 cards are valid until the 2009 ones come out!sj-roc wrote:I thought those were expired by now?Soundy wrote:I might be down for that.

Good to hear... I distinctly recall noticing that while, say five or six years ago, they lasted pretty deep into the offseason, they put a much earlier expiry date on them a few years later, which would prob be two, maybe three years ago now. Sounds like they've axed that newer course of action.Soundy wrote:There's no expiry date on them As far as I'm concerned, the 2008 cards are valid until the 2009 ones come out!sj-roc wrote:I thought those were expired by now?Soundy wrote:I might be down for that.
