I've come to appreciate and value what a great resource stats.cfldb.ca was as part of cfldb.ca. It appears to have met its demise with no details provided.

I especially loved looking up past seasons for all teams with things like results, schedules, scores, rosters, coaching staffs and a host of other details being so easily retrievable.

This is a massive loss for stats nerds like me. I would often look up old Lions games from yesteryear (e.g. games I recall watching in my youth). The info was incredibly in-depth. You could even find out the local weather reports at game time.

Was this the intellectual property of Steve Daniel? Is he still with the CFL?
