Tim Baines of Postmedia says Rhymes was scheduled to have made $235,000 in B.C. this year, and that his new deal in Ottawa has a base salary of $195,000.

$235-$240,000 in 2024 for rhymes as a lion according to Farhan.
Only 500 yds receiving last year.

This makes more sense now.

Rhymes started last year like 'a house on fire'... He was the primary receiver and then he was injured. He never rebounded as our other receivers stepped in to cover his missing production and when he returned he was no longer the "go to" guy. By the end of the season, he was somewhat irrelevant, given the receiver depth and emergence of Hollins in that group. So it is no surprise that he is gone. The surprise is that he commanded big dollars from Ottawa.
