Why are they not kicking a field goal here?

Two wins in Mosaic this season! That's always a good thing.
The Lions have to clean up and improve their special teams. You can't start almost every drive on your 25 and allow the opposition to get 25+yards on every return!

Running game needs to be better. In a tight 4th, relying on a backup QB, you need a run game.
Tell me how long must a fan be strong? Ans. Always.

Nothing brings me more joy than listening to Rider fans when they lose. Think I'll listen to their post game show and hear all the moaning and crying!
Yea, kind of annoying. We could have 25-30 more points on the season by now if Campbell wasn't so quick to have the offense pack it in. I'm not saying run up the score per se. But 3 straight runs when they know it's coming . It's killing Butler's yards per carry average.

Hearing some early reports Rourke may have a high ankle sprain. He could be out for awhile if it's true.
Of course that's extremely concerning - where are you hearing that?swervynmerv wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 10:54 pmHearing some early reports Rourke may have a high ankle sprain. He could be out for awhile if it's true.

Reported in the Leader Post and on the Rider post game show. They claimed he was in a walking boot after the game.Walt67 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 11:11 pmOf course that's extremely concerning - where are you hearing that?swervynmerv wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 10:54 pmHearing some early reports Rourke may have a high ankle sprain. I went back and slowed down the play and the way his ankle rotated out, a high ankle sprain is one possible injury. Hopefully it's not as bad as suspected once the docs get a better look at it and he is back soon.
Swerv, clearly, all Lions fans hope it is not THAT bad. High ankle sprains can take 6 weeks or so. The only sack on 12 all game, but the way he went down looked awkward - and sure enough the next image was him hobbling off the turf on one foot. Fingers crossed, fingers crossed.
Thanks for the heads up on the Post - I'll check out their story.

Low or High, and that seems likely, that’s at least a month with two losses incoming against Calgyra. You can kiss any thoughts of a home playoff game goodbye. A shame, really.swervynmerv wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 10:54 pmHearing some early reports Rourke may have a high ankle sprain. He could be out for awhile if it's true.
